A few weeks ago I was contacted by House of Fraser, introducing me to their plus size collection. The only department I’ve ever shopped in before is their beauty department however, many a day I have glanced through the windows and dreamt of all of the beautiful clothing inside. A favourite of mine has to be the Ted Baker collection with its floral prints and floaty detail but I know the sizing doesn’t go up very far so I’ve pretty much ruled that out.

I’ve known about the launch of the Missguided +
plus size clothing range for a little while now but I was sworn to secrecy until I was given the go ahead and woahhh has that time flown by! Missguided has been one of those websites that I have admired from afar, knowing full well that there would have been no way that I would have squeezed myself into their clothing from their main range. Not gonna happen!
When I first heard about the Missguided + launch, I couldn’t wait to see what was on offer. My only worry being that if it is anything like the ASOS Curve range, there will be a big discrepancy between their main collection and plus size collection when it comes to sizing. I’m not sure if you’ve ever noticed, but a size 18 from ASOS is a lot smaller than their Curve equivalent. I’m pretty sure the sizing and fit will become common knowledge shortly as this news is going to be take the blogging community by storm!

The Christmas party season is nearly upon us and its hard to believe how quickly this last year has gone! Every year I get a new dress to wear on Christmas Day and since the disaster of a few years ago when I left it too late to find anything , I vowed to always get sorted sooner rather than later.
This year proved quite easy thanks to all of the gorgeous dresses on offer across the high street and online. I already made the decision that this year I want to be extra festive and wear a red dress that should look striking against my blonde hair. After looking online at the my regular haunts like Simply Be, Yours Clothing and New Look I found a dress that I thought would be perfect from the brand AX Paris for Simply Be.

Primark has become one of my favourite places to check out, mainly because of the products changing so quickly but also the price. You just can’t go wrong! Primark was never a place that I could shop in easily due to the sizing being all over the place but it’s become my new guilty pleasure as you’ll have noticed on my Instagram if you follow me!
I first spotted this skirt (and statement necklace) on the Primark website when they released a Q&A session with the gorgeous Victoria from InTheFrow.com – it wasn’t available in stores but Victoria had chosen it to showcase some of the new Autumn/Winter range and I was desperate to get my hands on the floaty organza number. I ended up visiting a couple of different Primark stores multiple times, when one evening I finally spotted it and had to get my hands on it! When I got it home I didn’t have a clue how to accessorise it. I stumbled across a couple of looks that worked really well with clothes that I already had in my wardrobe when I suddenly had a brainwave… What about my underbust corset!?

It’s taken me a while to get decent photos of this outfit, but I think it was worth the wait. With all of the dismal weather we have been having, a floral dress is the last thing I’ve wanted to put on but yesterday we had a spell of sunshine and it so happens that I was also going to see one of my friends (who is an awesome photographer) – perfect timing! I have lusted after this Pink Floral Print Chiffon Dress
ever since it was launched by Yours Clothing. Part of the Hayley Hasselhoff Loves range, Yours really shined with this collection and there were a number of pieces I was coveting. I knew it would be the kind of dress that could be worn to posh events with a smart jacket or faux fur coat for winter, or dressed down with a denim jacket / cardigan. I figured that the denim jacket was a safer option with the interchangable weather and I think this look works really well.

I’ve not really shopped in Evans
for quite a while but when I was in the Cardiff branch coveting over Scarlett & Jo dresses, so many things caught my eye so I have been checking their website regularly ever since. Evans have really upped their game providing a number of fashionable pieces for women with curves in sizes 14 to 32. I really like how they start at a UK size 14 too, because a size 14 and 16 are sometimes overlooked in plus size clothing
which is something that I have only recently discovered. They have also been collaborating with amazing upcoming fashion designers in their Cut For Evans collection which launched earlier this year and last week saw the launch of their second edition.

Lately my hair has been quite dry and tangled so I was very eager to give the L’Oreal Mythic Oil Masque a try. When I opened the sample tub, the smell was quite fragrant, yet fresh. Using previous oil treatments I hve always found the scent quite overpowering but that wasn’t the case with this product.
